Day 02 - Middle Ring Station

Today, I boarded the train from Onyx Marketplace to the Middle Ring station.

The vast expanse of flat, open land was truly disorienting.

I'm accustomed to wild flora enveloping every corner of my sight. Outskirts, in contrast, offered nothing more than occasional fields of blue flowers. My conductor hurried over, eager to point out a particularly massive husk nestled in the blue valley, adopting the demeanor of an enthusiastic tour guide. It was evident that he took great pleasure in showcasing the relic to visitors—a sizable, empty lava lamp that leisurely drifted across my vision as it passed us by.

Upon my arrival at the station, Carrot was there to greet me, adorned in an open floral shirt and sporting a red bucket hat. He enthusiastically welcomed me with open arms and then drove me, along with my belongings, to the nearby suburbs. From there, we strolled together to an old stone cottage, engaging in a discussion about the timeline of my current task. In the midst of our conversation, Carrot also shared recommendations for his favorite spots in Middle Ring for spirits.

Alas, I do not drink.
