Day 06 - Regrouping

Cattail and I returned to the cottage today to recover. In the evening, Carrot reappeared to congratulate us and promptly dragged us, including Cattail’s wife, out to one of his favorite drinking spots—a quaint bar and grill in the nearby town. They dropped off Eden at a friend’s house to sleep over and we spent the rest of the night barhopping– I really needed all of that food and water!

Carrot indulged in hot wings twice that night, though I could have sworn he mentioned his animal being vegetarian. While sucking on his paws at the dining table, he asked me where I would go next. I admitted that it was up to Push to decide. I spent a majority of the night relaying my findings to him, and at times, his demeanor shifted to one of genuine scientific intrigue.

We arrived back at the cottage around midnight, and I’ve not much more to say about the whole ordeal… suffice to say, I’m ready to sleep for a million years.

Tomorrow I board the train back to Paradise, and I’ll get back to writing once I start my next endeavor! Until then, farewell!
