Dragonscale narrates the episode in text boxes. She thinks, I want to be a better leader. One that doesn't get distracted by her feelings. The next panel shows a simplified flashback to the bandits standing in front of the grocery store. Cone is scribbled out of Dragonscale's mind. She continues, At some point we even stopped being bandits. But that was only because we had the store. The current Stylus, Dagger, and Peanut Butter are shown sitting around the new apartment with their faces obscured. Dragonscale thinks, Maybe if I put my energy into raising morale, we could go back to the good ol' days.

She continues, Right now, they're weighed down by personal things. I just have to talk to them about their feelings! Dragonscale remembers Ghost Pepper saying to her, Let's talk about it. She thinks, I'll just be more like Ghost Pepper from now on.

Our combined skillset is invaluable. It can fix anything. We could have raised a child with it. A black thought bubble surrounded by scribbles appears next to Dragonscale and says, I'll never get to. Dragonscale is surrounded by these negative thoughts. They say, I'll never get to, I'll never see her again, I'm worthless, I'm too immature, Dirty and lazy, Murderer, Kidnapper, Addict, They died because of me, I lost everything, Creepy age regressor, I'm like my mom, It should have been me, and They all hate me.

In a flashback to the episode Hold On, Ghost Pepper says, Then, what are you getting high for? Dragonscale, surrounded by a black cloud, thinks This was the answer. She runs from the cloud of thoughts as it begins to crash down on her like a wave. She continues, I can't be alone with my thoughts! How am I supposed to do anything like this?!

Dragonscale runs into Peanut Butter. She says, Oof. Peanut Butter says, Oh, Sorry honey. Are you looking for something? Dragonscale falls backwards. Text says fwump. Dragonscale says, Well, but gets cut off. Peanut Butter asks her, Actually, could you help me with something? Dragonscale says, Yeah?

Peanut Butter says, Good! I needed some way to heat up water. The boys won't bathe with cold. And they're starting to stink, so. Dragon says, Ah? Uh. Peanut Butter continues, Part of my job is making sure teens don't reek. Help a girl out.

Later, sitting on the floor, Peanut Butter says, Wish I could help you. In the foreground, Dragonscale breathes fire on the pot of water. Text describes the sound of roaring flames. She stops, saying, Huh? Lowering the pot, she exclaims, You can! Peanut Butter asks, By doing what, exactly? Dragonscale asks, How, are you feeling?

Peanut Butter sits staring at her in silence for a moment before asking, Who, me? Dragonscale shouts, Yes! I mean, I need a break, so tell me how you're doing! Peanut Butter says, I'm ready to leave the Rings. Screw this bandit crap. Dragonscale says quietly, How can you say that? Peanut Butter says, There's no right way to live in a dump. There's nothing left to take. Everybody's dead! Quietly, Peanut Butter says, Even my.

My. Peanut Butter has a flashback to the day her child was printed. Her partner places their hand on her shoulder as they both look at their baby. A nurse says, It's a girl! Peanut Butter, featureless, looks down at the baby as the panel becomes desaturated.

The swaddled baby cannot be seen in the black void of its blanket, but it is crawling with parasites.

Peanut Butter says, My, pet rabbit. She looks mortified. Dragonscale says, Aw! I'm sorry. Poor bunny. Peanut Butter says, Yep. Poor bunny. Text says turn as she looks to the side to pick up a blanket from the floor and holds it close. Dragonscale asks, Are you cold? PB?

Peanut Butter says quietly, Yeah. It's cold. The panel changes from blue to orange as a warm glow appears. Dragonscale says, Here. I can't radiate heat for very long, so. Her glowing hands are placed on the back of Peanut Butter's object. Dragonscale hugs Peanut Butter, stammering, Don't get used to it.

She says, Peanut Butter, that rabbit must have meant a lot to you. Something special like that, will come back to you. Peanut Butter starts crying and asks, You think so? Dragonscale continues, Maybe as a sign, or a friend, or as a feeling. It could even visit you while you're dreaming. Peanut Butter croaks, she does.

Peanut Butter says, Boy, You weren't kidding. You are warm. Dragonscale shouts, Hardly! Her glow starts to disappear. She asks, Do you feel better? PB? Peanut Butter is snoring.

Dragonscale thinks, I didn't want to wake her up. She has trouble sleeping. I'll just take this to Stylus and Dagger. Dragonscale walks away with the pot of water.
