Ep 109. Strobes

The Nightcrawler looks up towards the sky, holding up its arm. Smoke is billowing from its skin where the light touched it, leaving singe marks. The Nightcrawler looks down at its injury, as the Roman numeral three appears behind it.

Where the clouds have parted in the sky, a beam of light shines down. A voice calls from the clouds, saying, Comet. The Nightcrawler stares forward, before a new beam of light appears right next to it. The Nightcrawler flinches, leaning away from the light. In the tent, Comet's arm can be seen. Her body is obscured by a swarm of flies.

Beams of light appear all around the Nightcrawler. The voice says, Come home. In a wider shot the voice repeats, Come home.

The Nightcrawler begins to flee, occasionally stopping to fearfully avoid more light beams.

The voice from the sky says, Comet. Come home. The Nightcrawler is hit with three beams of light, tilting its head back in a silent scream. It curls up on the ground and begins to melt, becoming smaller.

The voice repeats, Comet. The Nightcrawler looks up, now resembling Comet covered in feathers. The voice repeats, Come home. The Nightcrawler looks up towards the sky, the triangular marking on its head glowing white. Feathers fly around it in the wind. The voice repeats, Comet.

The Nightcrawler sprints away, leaving a trail of smoke. Afterwards, it sits in front of Comet's tent expectantly. Comet's eye peeks out from inside the darkness of the tent, and the two stare at each other.

The ten opens to reveal Comet, who is completely obscured by a large swarm of flies. Some flies pour out from the top of the tent and into the night sky. The Nightcrawler flicks its tail, assuming a playful position. Comet leans forward out of the tent. The Nightcrawler, puffs up, bouncing away as Comet chases it with an outstretched arm. The Nightcrawler dives into the ground and begins to dig. Text says dig dig.

It continues digging, disappearing underground. Text repeats the word dig several more times. Comet stares down at the hole in the ground. The Nightcrawler's arm reaches out of the hole to offer its hand to Comet, who looks down towards it.
