Ep 92. Starlight Waltz

12/26/25

Citrus is carrying Spool over the city during Coldwave. They fly to the roof top, where the hanging tarp is now torn and blowing in the wind. The sky is full of storm clouds with beams of light piercing through.
Text says thud. Citrus and Spool land on the roof of the building, sliding across a sheet of ice that covers the whole roof. Text says slide. Spool asks angrily, Why'd you bring us back here? Citrus says, We need to salvage our stuff! Text says grip as Spool grabs at his fur. Spool shouts, It's fucking freezing up here!
The characters are clambering over each other, both shouting. Citrus yells, Spool! Hey! Quit it! Spool! That hurts! Spool yells, I don't have fur, asshole! When the characters are done moving, Spool is sitting on top of Citrus. Both are red in the face, and Citrus says, Well, where else can we go?
Spool says, We, could, go to my place. Later, the two are standing up, holding on to each other. Spool says quietly, Don't squeeze so hard. Citrus says, Don't piss me off. The next shot shows the two further away, with more of the icy roof visible.
Spool stands on Citrus, or his feet, because he does not want to touch the ice. Spool asks him, How do we get to our stuff like this? Citrus looks down at them, thinking, before swinging Spool around. Text says spin as Spool shouts. A radio in the snow, left over from before, turns on by itself and plays static as the two can be seen spining on the ice in the background.
As the two are spinning, gradually, the static turns into music. Both characters are flustered.
Citrus stammers, Don't look at me like that. Spool asks, Like what? Spool slips, falling backwards and yelps. Citrus catches him before he can fall and pulls him close. Citrus says quietly, Like you'd.
Spool asks, Like I'd, do anything for you? Citrus says, Like you'd, kiss me. Citrus and Spool kiss, embracing each other.
As they kiss, a drop of blood falls on to the ice between them. Text says plip. Someone says, You've got something on your, here. The other asks, Oh, was I, crying? They continue, saying, I guess I'm just so, Happy. The word happy is in the text font My Muse, and is slightly red.
