HAPPY BIRTHDAY, OBJECTIFIED!

Hello, this is Chester.
Objectified was conceived officially on April 3rd, 2022, which is also my birthday. Since then, I've worked consistently and full-time on my series, getting episodes out every two weeks on Friday for two years.

Making the comic was not easy for me to do. When you work on something you truly love, you tend to question how ridiculous it is. Getting the work done on time if you are the only artist sometimes has you awake until nine in the morning, day after day. Some people might not even want to give your work a chance.

Despite the challenges, I'm proud of myself and my team/friends for being so involved in supporting my work and making sure it achieves the highest quality possible.

I'd like to thank every reader who has supported the series thus far as well, either by sharing it with friends, making fanworks, or contributing to the project financially. All of these are essential in order to keep the project in production until its completion.

Thanks to the growing community and success surrounding Objectified, I have been allotted much time to regather myself after a traumatic incident that affected me a few years ago. I've felt more like myself lately and more often than not I am looking forward to the future. The comic is even able to fund my transition.

I'm also ecstatic that Objectified has rejuvenated the object show webcomic scene, with many inspired works and noticeable influence on existing works coming out in the last year or so. We get a ton of emails asking us permission to take direct inspiration from our series!

Objectified has allowed me to hone my time management skills, my ability to communicate with others, and has shown me that I can indeed work on something for more than three months without giving up on it in its entirety. For that I am grateful.

I'm hoping that in time, I can strengthen the bond between myself and my community. Finding my voice has been difficult, and I'm aware that that has made me incredibly intimidating to some readers.

For now, I'll leave you with my thanks, and we'll see where 2024 takes us. So thank you again for reading my comic, and I hope you enjoy the Egstrom arc.
